I miss you Winter Park!

When we arrived in Florida last Saturday we took a short drive to show off my alma mater Rollins College to the kiddos. Rollins has the most beautiful campus ever- with Pepperdine in Malibu and UC Santa Barbara its only competition! My roomie MS and I had a view of the lake from our dorm room. Everything is within walking distance and I could even just walk barefoot from my dorm room to Orlando Hall for my English classes. Adjacent to Rollins is Park Avenue. Oh, how I miss that darling street. Tons of cute boutiques, shops, restaurants and more. I reminisced with the family at Dexter's for lunch. It was a wonderful way to start off our trip!
The kids got a kick out of running around the library and seeing the sushi bar in the cafeteria. I guess times do change. I remember the salad bar and deli, but no sushi! And in case you were wondering, yes, those ties at the bookstore are by Vineyard Vines.
